Individual Health Insurance

Individual health insurance covers medical expenses for illnesses, injuries and conditions for individuals or/and their family. Unlike a plan through an employer, individual health insurance is a medical health plan you select and pay for on your own. Individual health insurance has historically been less expensive than group coverage (employers often pay a portion of the premiums for group coverage), while individual policies are fully funded by the insured.
